Spear PR

Spear PR is a full-service public relations, marketing communications, and strategic planning agency based in San Diego, California. Founded in 2018, we are a boutique firm that specializes in working with public and private sector clients to develop successful public outreach programs.

Spear PR is a women-owned, certified Disadvantaged Enterprise (DBE) with the California Unified Certification Program. We can serve as a sub-consultant to help primes meet DBE goals and are certified to work throughout the entire State of California.

Team Spear PR

Our team has extensive community outreach and strategic communications expertise. We have worked for elected officials, other public relations firms in San Diego, and real estate companies.

Amy Spear, President of Spear PR, has over 10 years of experience in the communications and government field. Spear worked at Southwest Strategies for over 5 years developing and managing strategic public outreach programs and lobbying for clients including:

Additionally, Spear worked for a U.S. Senator in Washington, D.C. as a Projects Director and Legislative Assistant, where she strengthened relationships with the state’s mayors, chambers of commerce and other locally elected officials. Other previous work includes working for a governor and two state senators. Spear also has a real estate license with Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty.
